Et in Arcadia ego – série obrazů, VŠUP, Praha 2012.

Existuje několik způsobů čtení Et in Arcadia ego – I tady v Arkádii, já jsem přítomná. „Já“ zde zastupuje smrt a připomíná, že v našem světě není dosažitelného ideálu.

Na okrajích dnešních měst vyrůstají jiné Arkádie – mikrosvěty splněných snů, eklektická města postmoderní antiky bohatých. Pro pomník s nápisem tu ale nikde není místo.

There are many ways to read Et in Arcadia Ego: “Even here, in Arcadia, I am present”. The “I” is Death, reminding us that there is no attainable ideal in our world.

A different sort of Arcadias are sprouting at the edges of our cities today – microcosmos of fulfilled dreams, eclectic cities of postmodern antiquity of the rich. There is no room for a tombstone with an inscription.
